Prior experience with commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or the use of power tools and hand tools is a plus. Duties • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed. • Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management. • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met. • Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated hours. • Assist with heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment safely around the premises. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered. Skills • Experience with custodial or commercial cleaning preferred. • Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic repair techniques. • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. • Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail. • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or visitors. • Effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly.
