Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician – Ottawa Salary: $25–$30 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Join Our Team! Are you mechanically inclined and love keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to service commercial kitchen equipment across Ottawa. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently, this is the perfect role for you! What You’ll Do • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, dishwashers, scales, slicers, etc.). • Inspect, clean, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer standards. • Spot potential issues and recommend solutions before breakdowns occur. • Keep accurate service records and communicate findings to management. • Travel to client locations within Ottawa (company vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed). What We’re Looking For • Experience in kitchen equipment maintenance or related fields (HVAC, appliance repair, mechanical service). • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
