Job Details Main Street Dermatology is looking for an experienced, hard working nurse practitioner or physician assistant who is passionate about caring for seniors and providing exceptional dermatology care. Bonus points if you have visiting medical or home health experience! What is Main Street Dermatology? Reminiscent of the medical house call days, Main Street Dermatology is the only visiting medical dermatology company serving residents in senior living communities in Michigan. We focus on specialized, age-friendly care and preventative treatments to minimize the need for invasive procedures and ER visits. We partner with senior community staff, family members and other health care providers to provide the most comprehensive care experience. Responsibilities and Duties: After satisfactory completion of geriatric dermatology training, daily duties and responsibilities include traveling to independent living, assisted living, memory care and nursing home communities to provide medical dermatology care. An additional responsibility is partnering with and maintaining relationships with patients, families, senior living community staff and other health care providers to ensure success. Patient care duties include physical assessments, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of dermatological disorders and performing procedures. A strong foundation in patient and family counseling is necessary. An entrepreneurial spirit with motivation to grow the assigned territory is imperative. Providers must complete timely documentation in the EMR. Requirements: • Comfortable with an independent contractor 1099 position. • Comfortable with 100% collection-based pay structure • Entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset. • Willing to travel on-site to senior living communities in wind, rain or snow! • 2 years+ NP/PA experience. • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. • Valid Board Certification. • So much love for senior living residents!
