About the Role The SVP of Human Resources will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and investors, responsible for shaping and executing a forward-looking people strategy. This leader will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation, elevating organizational capability, and strengthening Magnit’s position as a global leader in the contingent workforce industry. The SVP, HR will lead a global HR organization of professionals across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, and Benefits. This leader will ensure the function operates as a best-in-class center of excellence, continuously evolving to meet the needs of a fast-paced, 3,000+ employee global enterprise. What You Will Do Strategic Leadership & Transformation • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive team, and Board on all people-related matters, including organizational strategy, culture, workforce planning, and leadership. • Lead the design and execution of HR strategy aligned to business objectives and value creation in a private equity context. • Shape and evolve company culture to drive performance, engagement, and retention through periods of rapid change. • Present regularly to the Board on talent strategy, succession, culture, and organizational health metrics. Talent and Organizational Effectiveness • Partner with peers as needed to drive organizational transformation initiatives, including operating model design, talent restructuring, and establishing COEs, etc. • Partner with the executive team to assess, recruit, and retain top leadership talent while ensuring a strong succession pipeline. • Lead enterprise-wide leadership development programs and coaching initiatives to strengthen organizational capability and prepare future leaders. • Lead change management strategies to support growth, restructuring, and post-deal transformation. Compensation, Benefits & HR Infrastructure • Oversee executive and broad-based compensation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PE performance expectations. • Partner with investors and the compensation committee on equity, and performance incentive design. • Optimize benefits and reward structures to attract and retain top talent while managing cost efficiency. • Drive operational excellence across HR processes, systems, and compliance to support scale and efficiency • Oversee HR operations, talent acquisition, HRBP, L&D, and (employee relations- typically part of the HRBP function versus a standalone), ensuring they deliver measurable business outcomes. • Implement and leverage HR technology to enable data-driven decision-making and workforce insights. What You Will Need • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA, MS in HR/OD) strongly preferred. • Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent) valued but not essential at this level. Professional Experience • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5+ years in a HR leadership role (CHRO, SVP, VP or equivalent). • Experience in private equity–backed or investor-owned companies, including direct engagement with Boards and investors. • Demonstrated track record of driving organizational transformation: M&A integration, restructuring, scaling, or turnaround. • Strong background in executive compensation, equity design, and incentive structures aligned to investor value creation. • Success in building leadership bench strength, succession planning, and executive coaching. • Expertise in modern HR practices: culture shaping, DEI, people analytics, HR technology. Salary Range is between $275,000 - $325,000 annually based on experience, credentials and location.
