Overview Our client, a leading commercial bank with global reach, is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join its Internal Audit team. This role focuses on treasury, liquidity, asset/liability management, and investment activities, providing audit leadership and direct engagement with business leaders. The position offers visibility across critical balance sheet functions and the opportunity to travel internationally for audit coverage. Key Responsibilities • Lead and execute audits covering treasury operations, liquidity management, capital planning, ALM, funding, and investments • Develop and execute risk-based audit programs that address key inherent risks and regulatory requirements • Conduct risk assessments, contribute to annual audit planning, and monitor emerging risks in treasury functions • Prepare clear, concise audit workpapers and reports, highlighting control deficiencies and recommending improvements • Manage project timelines, budgets, and junior auditors assigned to treasury-related audits • Collaborate with Treasury leadership and 2nd line risk functions to evaluate control effectiveness and remediation of findings • Participate in policy/procedure development committees and process improvement initiatives • Liaise with regulators, auditors, and management to ensure compliance with evolving standards • Support special projects and cross-functional assignments within the audit department • Travel to Hong Kong and/or China to perform assigned international audit coverage Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; CPA, CIA, or similar certification preferred • 5–7 years of audit/advisory experience in public accounting or financial institutions • Direct exposure to treasury, ALM, liquidity management, or capital planning required • Strong knowledge of banking products, treasury processes, and regulatory expectations • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present findings to senior management • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities • Professional proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese a plus
