This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and lead credit risk strategy at the executive level, working closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Ideal for a seasoned credit risk professional who thrives on driving policy, governance, and strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive credit risk policies that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and growth strategy. • Regularly review and update credit policies to reflect evolving market conditions, company expansion, and regulatory changes. • Provide guidance to teams on policy interpretation, ensuring consistent application across geographies and business lines. • Oversee credit risk infrastructure, supporting enterprise risk management initiatives and auditing programs. • Design and deliver training programs for underwriting teams to maintain risk alignment, consistency, and professional development. • Conduct periodic quality assessments and audits of underwriting decisions to ensure adherence to policy and standards. • Serve as a senior credit committee member, evaluating high-value commercial credit applications and guiding executive-level credit decisions. • Lead portfolio and program assessments, preparing actionable insights and reports for executive management. • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Collections, Product, and Data teams to implement scalable credit strategies. • Monitor discretionary credit authority across underwriting teams and recommend adjustments to optimize risk management.
