Data Engineering Tech Lead This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Tech Lead to lead a team of Data Engineers and BI Developers on a strategic data project. The role focuses on designing and delivering modern data architectures in Azure, implementing CI/CD and data pipelines, and driving best practices across the team. Collaboration with international stakeholders and leadership in advanced areas such as vector search and AI integration will be part of the scope. Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of 68 Data Engineers and Power BI Developers • Define and oversee implementation of data engineering best practices • Drive development of data pipelines, CI/CD processes, and Medallion architecture in Azure • Collaborate with Project Manager and US stakeholders on requirements and delivery • Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of data solutions • Guide the team on advanced topics such as vector search, hybrid search, and Genie integration Requirements: • Proven leadership experience as a Data Engineering Tech Lead • Strong background in Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD • Proficiency with Databricks, Python, and PySpark • Hands-on experience with data pipelines, Data Warehouse / Data Lakehouse, and Medallion architecture • Strong understanding of identity and access management (OAuth, OpenID, SAML, JWT) • SQL and Git proficiency Nice to have: • Experience with LLMs and AI agents • Knowledge of enterprise search (VectorSearch, HybridSearch) • Familiarity with advanced data security models Benefits: • Solid, competitive salary • Work in multilingual, multinational and multicultural environment on international projects • Comprehensive healthcare • Long-term B2B contract with stable project pipeline • Fully remote role
