About the Opportunity • Marketing of two new Madeo initiatives: a new program that supports smaller nonprofits and a set of new website services for larger nonprofit organizations • 6-months engagement with room to extend it further • Part-time: Expected 20 to 25 hours per week to start • Remote opportunity: Bonus if you live in NY/Brooklyn but not a requirement • We are open to expanding this opportunity into a full-time role that would contribute to more areas of the agency’s marketing along with contributing to select client projects, but this is not a requirement • This is exclusively open to individuals — no marketing agencies or recruiters — and you will collaborate with a creative director, project manager, designers, and strategists • We are hoping to select a consultant and begin by the end of September, but if you are seeing this, it means we are still searching for the right person Scope of Work Here are the main areas of what you would work on: • Content marketing: Strategy and concepts, planning, copywriting, overseeing design execution, and publishing. Channels include editorial, social media (LinkedIn and IG), and emails (Mailchimp) • Research and outreach for relevant marketing opportunities and partnerships • Depending on when you start, you may contribute to relevant brand and website work for both initiatives • Not a requirement, but a plus if you have strong experience with paid advertising across search and social • We are excited to invite the right consultant to propose their own mix of approaches based on learning more about the new initiatives we’re working on What we are looking for • You have successful experience marketing an agency (web, design, brand, or similar) or a similar b2b comms and marketing • Experience or at least genuine interest in nonprofits as your marketing audience • Keen sense of design and positive experience of collaborating with designers • Great writing skills across editorial, email, and social media Bonus points • You have experience or interest in creating videos for social media that would be used for interviews and similar creator content • Prior experience marketing a (b2b) service or annual program like an awards program, service grants, or similar Compensation This is a mid to senior level part-time hourly contract position with compensation based on relevant experience.
