Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Technology Transformation Job Location- Austin, Texas- Remote Job Description • Perform advanced (senior-level) business analysis supporting complex and emerging technology hardware and software initiatives • Support large-scale technology transformation programs, including modernization and system migration efforts • Gather, analyze, develop, and document business and functional requirements using multiple elicitation techniques • Review, assess, and improve existing business processes and workflows • Create, review, and validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) artifacts including test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria • Provide research support and special project assistance to business and technical users • Work with limited to minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment and initiative • Perform analysis and documentation across multiple interrelated projects, including: • Implementation of SaaS and COTS applications • Data migration from legacy systems to modern platforms • Data warehouse design and implementation • Ensure all deliverables follow established standards, methodologies, and quality guidelines • Apply accepted business analysis frameworks and best practices consistently • Assist in coordinating and reviewing the work of other team members as needed • Collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams throughout the SDLC Minimum Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of business analysis experience on software development projects • Extensive experience preparing project-related documentation • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) • Advanced technical writing skills in English • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and prototyping/diagramming tools such as Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure • Hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, client engagement, and technical documentation • Expertise in traceability matrices, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling • Proven experience facilitating working sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Strong analytical skills in assessing production support issues and performing root cause analysis • Ability to document system corrections and data remediation requirements • Experience understanding business drivers and assisting stakeholders with identifying and solving business problems • Proven ability to develop design documents and business process diagrams • Experience facilitating analysis of business and functional requirements and designing technical specifications • Strong background defining functional design and system specifications • Experience preparing, reviewing, and delivering completed design and requirement packages • Hands-on experience supporting UAT, training, and implementation activities • Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance and Software Engineering methodologies • Experience writing, reviewing, and validating quality standards, test plans, and test cases • Ability to translate business requirements and design specifications into test procedures • Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Working experience with JIRA, including: • User story creation • Test case development • Test execution • Reporting Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Experience working in Agile development environments • Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies including smoke, regression, black box, and white box testing • Advanced experience writing and executing Oracle/SQL queries • Experience developing web application test automation using Java, Selenium, or similar tools • Familiarity with database queries, test data creation, and data validation • Experience working on Salesforce-related projects • Background in process improvement strategies and methodologies • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and design more efficient business processes • Experience in regulated industries such as Oil & Gas or compliance-focused environments • Strong ability to collaborate within complex, multi-disciplinary teams • Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
