Company – About Madam Sew Madam Sew is a fast-growing U.S. e-commerce brand selling innovative sewing & quilting tools to 250 000+ customers worldwide. We scale through data-driven acquisition, CRO-focused landing pages, compelling creative, and obsessive customer empathy. We currently invest ≈ USD 1.5 million in paid media each year across Meta and Google. Work Type Full-time contractor (remote) with daily team collaboration in English. Salary USD $3,500 – $4,000 / month (contract). Schedule Fully remote. Minimum 3 hours overlap with Eastern Standard Time (9-12 AM Monday–Friday). About the Role Help Madam Sew translate the way sewists actually work into advertising. You’ll mine product, campaign and customer insight to craft UGC and ads concepts, direct efficient content production, and iterate quickly on data to lift CTR, CVR, AOV, and contribution margin across our DTC channels. The team you’ll work with • Senior Media Buyer - executes & optimizes paid social/search. • Shopify CRO & Landing-Page Specialist - builds/optimizes post-click flow. • Head of Marketing - sets strategy across acquisition & retention. Daily collaborators: freelance graphic designer, freelance video editor, social-media manager (content creator & whitelisting), and content manager (raw multimedia assets). Key Responsibilities • Develop testable concepts & angles from customer research, reviews, trends, and competitor ads. • Write clear creative briefs and QA assets for designers, editors, and UGC creators—maintaining brand consistency. • Partner with the social media manager to source, brief, and manage UGC / influencer creators; launch whitelisted ads and build a rights-approved UGC library. • Partner with the media buyer to analyze hook-rate, hold-rate, CTR, CPA, MER, and propose next creative tests. • Compile and present weekly creative performance reports (Ads Manager exports → GA4 / Looker Studio dashboards) that highlight wins, losses, and next-step hypotheses for the CRO & acquisition teams. • Align ad messaging with landing pages, email flows, and on-site content in tandem with the CRO & retention teams. • Jump into Canva, Figma, CapCut, or Adobe for quick edits when freelancers are unavailable to keep momentum. • Maintain a creative testing calendar, asset naming conventions, and trend watch to scale output while safeguarding quality. Must-Have Experience & Skills • 3+ years in a performance-first creative role for DTC or e-commerce (agency or brand). • Proven success producing paid-social ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube/Shorts) that beat KPIs at ≥ $100 k / mo spend. • Strong grasp of direct-response principles (hook–problem–solution, urgency, social proof). • Ability to dissect creative data: thumb-stop %, first-3-second view-through, CPC, CPA. • Hands-on ability to execute quick edits in Canva, Figma, CapCut, or Adobe Suite. • Skill turning audience research (GA-4, surveys, search terms) into actionable creative angles. • Excellent English copywriting—tight hooks, CTA-driven captions, landing-page messaging alignment. • Highly organized, proactive, and self-managing in a distributed environment. Nice-to-Have • Passion for sewing/quilting or DIY niches. • Experience with rights management & influencer whitelisting. • Basic HTML/CSS and Shopify theme section familiarity. • Exposure to CRO frameworks (ICE, PXL) and A/B platforms (Intelligems, VWO).
