10+ years in healthcare sales, business development, or partner sales, with experience in complex solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
Position Summary The Senior Director, Health Market Partner Sales – Financially Impactful Drugs (FID) is a senior individual contributor sales role responsible for acquiring, enabling, and growing Health Market Partners (HMPs) on the sell side of the MacroHealth Marketplace for FID solutions. This role focuses on identifying and contracting partners whose solutions can be offered through MacroHealth’s marketplace and successfully adopted by buyers (health plans, employers, and other purchasers) through MacroHealth’s buy side sales teams. Because FID offerings are in the early stages of development, this role requires selling solutions that are evolving while collaborating closely with Product, Pharmacy Marketplace, and Operations to ensure partners are positioned, prepared, and scoped appropriately for market entry. The role carries clear commercial accountability for partner-driven revenue, while operating with discipline around product ownership and internal handoffs. Why This Role Matters Financially Impactful Drug solutions represent a high value but high complexity category within the Marketplace. Selling partner solutions before full maturity requires: • Careful qualification of partner capabilities • Thoughtful positioning of what is ready vs. emerging • Strong coordination across internal teams to avoid overpromising This role ensures that marketplace growth on the sell side is intentional, credible, and scalable, enabling buy-side sellers to confidently bring FID solutions to clients. Core Responsibilities SellSide Partner Sales (Key Accountability) • Identify, source, and close Health Market Partner relationships for FID solutions. • Own the commercial relationship with FID partners from initial engagement through activation. • Lead partner negotiations, contracting, and commercial alignment in partnership with Legal and Finance. • Maintain responsibility for partnerdriven revenue performance. Partner Enablement & Readiness • Ensure partners understand MacroHealth’s marketplace model, expectations, and standards. • Coordinate with Pharmacy Marketplace, Product, and Operations to align on integration scope, readiness, and launch sequencing. • Support partner onboarding and activation to enable downstream selling by buyside sales teams. Marketplace & Product Collaboration • Collaborate with Product and Marketplace teams to provide structured market feedback gathered through partner interactions. • Communicate partner requirements, constraints, and opportunities clearly and consistently. • Contribute to activation planning and launch readiness without owning product strategy, roadmap decisions, or solution design. GoToMarket Support (Sell / Buy Side Interface) • Partner with buyside Sales teams to ensure FID partner solutions are well understood, appropriately positioned, and saleready. • Support complex or early client opportunities where partner context is critical. • Help refine positioning and expectations so buyers receive achievable, clearly defined solutions. Performance & Feedback Management • Monitor partner activity, deal flow, and adoption trends. • Identify risks that could hinder successful client implementations or revenue realization. • Provide ongoing feedback to internal teams to improve partner quality and selling efficiency. Key Relationships: Health Market Partners (sellside vendors), Pharmacy Marketplace, Product Management, Operations & Implementation, BuySide Sales Teams, Legal & Finance Success Metrics This role will be evaluated on both commercial performance and quality of marketplace execution, including: • Revenue generated from sellside FID partnerships • Number of FID partners contracted and activated • Time from partner contract to marketplace readiness • Adoption of FID partner solutions by buyside sales teams • Retention and expansion of FID partner relationships • Accuracy of expectations set with partners and internal teams Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or clinical background (Pharmacy, Nursing) preferred. • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or partner sales. • Demonstrated success selling complex or earlystage solutions, particularly in pharmacy or healthcare technology. • Experience working across Product, Operations, and Sales in a marketplace or platform environment. • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor without people management responsibility. Core Competencies • Complex, consultative selling • Partner qualification and deal shaping • Marketplace sales dynamics • Cross functional collaboration with clear ownership boundaries • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving offerings
