Minimum 3 years sales experience in flexible packaging industry with technical knowledge of extrusion and converting processes and strong interpersonal skills.
Position Outline Join a growing company with a sales position in the industrial films and flexible packaging industry. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales executive for the Northeastern region of the US. (This position is open to candidates across the Northeastern region of the USA). Duties and Responsibilities • Grow sales to existing customers to meet budget commitments. • Continuously prospect and cold call new potential customers and identify key decision makers. • Maintain and deepen professional relationships with existing customers, add influencers and allies throughout customers’ organisations. • Manage existing customer contracts to achieve sales targets, negotiate new contracts, and renew existing contracts when due. • Continuously analyse customer portfolio and monitor key metrics like sales vs. budget, sales vs. previous year, and bookings. • Develop account development and territory business plans; track actions and meet deadlines. • Travel as required throughout the Territory, visiting current and prospective customers. • Participate in industry events, trade shows, supplier summits, etc. as required. Required skills and qualifications • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the flexible packaging industry – experience selling industrial films, standup pouches and laminated structures a strong asset. • Basic technical understanding of extrusion and converting processes. • Experienced in new customer acquisition and new business development. • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work within teams and cooperate with others effectively; able to take direction and comply with company policies.
