Role Overview: As a Service Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department by managing schedules, coordinating with technicians, and maintaining clear communication with clients. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate and schedule service appointments for HVAC, plumbing, and automation system technicians. - You will communicate effectively with clients to confirm appointments and address scheduling needs. - You will manage technician availability and dispatch resources efficiently to meet service demands. - You will maintain accurate records of service calls, schedules, and customer interactions. - You will collaborate with field technicians and service managers to optimize workflow. - You will handle customer inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly. - You will assist in tracking service performance metrics and reporting. - You will support continuous improvement initiatives within the service scheduling process. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in scheduling or coordination, preferably in mechanical contracting or related industries. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or automation systems knowledge. - Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems. - Customer service experience in a technical service environment. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
