Role Overview: As a Service Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the scheduling of service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. You will act as a key liaison between customers, field technicians, and internal teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate and schedule service appointments for HVAC, plumbing, and automation system technicians. - You will communicate effectively with customers to confirm appointments and address scheduling inquiries. - You will collaborate with field technicians and service managers to optimize daily routes and workloads. - You will maintain accurate records of service calls, technician availability, and customer interactions. - You will assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and emergencies promptly. - You will support the service team by providing timely updates and information. - You will utilize scheduling software and tools to enhance operational efficiency. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the service scheduling process. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in scheduling or coordination, preferably in HVAC or mechanical services. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with HVAC or mechanical contracting industry. - Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems. - Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and terminology. - Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
