Role Overview: As a Service Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the scheduling of service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Your coordination efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate and schedule service appointments for HVAC, plumbing, and automation system technicians. - You will communicate effectively with customers to confirm appointments and address scheduling needs. - You will collaborate with field technicians and service managers to optimize daily schedules. - You will maintain accurate records of service calls and technician availability. - You will monitor service requests and prioritize urgent jobs to meet customer expectations. - You will assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and provide timely updates to stakeholders. - You will support the service team by managing dispatch and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in scheduling or coordination, preferably in HVAC or mechanical services. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with HVAC or mechanical service industry software. - Knowledge of commercial building systems and service operations. - Customer service experience in a technical or field service environment. - Familiarity with dispatch and resource management tools.
