Role Overview: As a Project Coordinator at MacDonald-Miller, you will play a crucial role in supporting project management teams to ensure smooth project execution from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to keep projects on track and within scope. What You'll Do: - You will assist project managers in planning and scheduling project activities to meet deadlines. - You will coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. - You will manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. - You will track project budgets and expenses to support financial oversight. - You will facilitate meetings and prepare meeting minutes to ensure clear follow-up actions. - You will monitor project progress and report any issues or delays promptly. - You will support procurement processes by coordinating material orders and deliveries. - You will maintain project databases and ensure data accuracy. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or a related role within the construction or mechanical contracting industry. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Procore. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or automation systems projects. - Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking tools. - Certification in project management (e.g., PMP or CAPM). - Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in construction.
