Role Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist focused on Service & Preventative Maintenance Collections, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s receivables. Your efforts will ensure timely collections, maintain strong client relationships, and support the financial health of the organization. What You'll Do: - You will manage and monitor accounts receivable for service and preventative maintenance contracts. - You will perform timely collections activities to reduce outstanding balances. - You will communicate professionally with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and account reconciliation. - You will maintain detailed records of collection efforts and client interactions. - You will assist in generating reports on accounts receivable status and trends. - You will support month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables. - You will identify opportunities to improve collection processes and customer satisfaction. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a service-oriented industry. - You bring strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. - You bring proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software. - You bring excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage client relationships. - You bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - You bring the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the mechanical contracting or facilities services industry. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. - Knowledge of preventative maintenance contract structures and billing. - Additional certifications in accounting or finance.
