Role Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist focused on Service & Preventative Maintenance Collections, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s receivables. Your efforts will ensure timely collections, maintain strong client relationships, and support the financial health of the organization. What You'll Do: - You will manage accounts receivable processes specifically for service and preventative maintenance contracts. - You will monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments. - You will communicate professionally with clients to resolve billing issues and discrepancies. - You will collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and support month-end closing activities. - You will maintain accurate records of collections and customer interactions. - You will assist in generating reports related to accounts receivable and collections performance. - You will identify opportunities to improve collection processes and reduce outstanding balances. - You will support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and information. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a service-oriented industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. - Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage client relationships effectively. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the mechanical contracting or facilities services industry. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. - Prior experience handling service and preventative maintenance contract billing. - Additional certifications in accounting or finance.
