Role Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist focused on Service & Preventative Maintenance Collections, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s receivables. Your efforts will ensure timely collections, maintain strong client relationships, and support the financial health of the organization. What You'll Do: - You will manage and process accounts receivable for service and preventative maintenance contracts. - You will monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve outstanding balances. - You will communicate professionally with clients to facilitate timely payments and resolve billing issues. - You will collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure accurate invoicing. - You will maintain detailed records of collections activities and customer interactions. - You will assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable. - You will identify opportunities to improve collection processes and recommend solutions. - You will support audit and compliance activities related to receivables. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a service-oriented industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. - Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with mechanical contracting or facility services industries. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. - Knowledge of preventative maintenance contract structures and billing. - Additional certifications in accounting or finance.
