Position Description: Job Summary: Are you a dynamic real estate professional with a proven track record in sales and leasing? Join our team at M. Shapiro Real Estate as an Operations Support Assistant and play a pivotal role in driving occupancy, revenue growth, and resident satisfaction across our portfolio of manufactured home communities. As a visionary leader, you will orchestrate comprehensive strategies, foster a high-performing team, and shape the future of our operations. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute innovative leasing and marketing strategies that exceed occupancy and revenue targets for assigned manufactured housing communities. • Collaborative Excellence: Collaborate seamlessly with regional managers, property teams, tenants, and maintenance staff to ensure a seamless resident journey from move-in to move-out. • Market Insight: Stay attuned to market trends, competition, and rental rates to craft pricing strategies and targeted marketing campaigns. • Community Alignment: Regularly visit properties to ensure leasing and marketing efforts align with community objectives and uphold presentation standards. Travel is required. • Resident Loyalty: Oversee the implementation of resident retention programs, cultivating elevated resident satisfaction and a strong sense of community. • Performance Reporting: Work to create comprehensive reporting to support the properties and assigned regional manager. • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, resident communications, and market analysis data to inform decision-making. • Team Culture: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the leasing team, promoting teamwork and professional growth. • Training and Development Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing team members, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge to excel. • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to improve strategies and customer interactions. • Incorporate industry trends and best practices into training programs for continuous improvement. • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics. • Serve as a subject matter expert during training sessions and team meetings. Required Skills/Abilities: • Proven sales and leasing success within the industry. • Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills. • Ability to assist and provide insight to assigned regional manager. • Proficiency in leasing and property management software. • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to outstanding experiences. • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed. • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed. Education and Experience: • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an assistant or operations support in the property management industry. • Previous leadership or management experience is highly desirable. • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
