Job Title: Sales Director - Power Delivery (Transmission, Substation, Distribution) Location: Northeast U.S. (Remote with regional travel) Reports To: Vice President of Business Development / Regional Executive Position Summary: We are seeking a high-performing, relationship-driven Sales Director to lead market growth in the Power Delivery sector, with a focus on Transmission Line, Substation, and Distribution services. This individual will act as a Market Director, owning client relationships and driving strategic sales initiatives across the Northeast. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep industry ties, particularly with utilities, and a proven track record of securing new business and expanding market presence. Key Responsibilities: • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key utility clients in the Northeast, including PECO, Eversource, National Grid, Con Edison, and others. • Strategic Sales Leadership: Lead sales efforts for power delivery services, identifying new opportunities, developing pursuit strategies, and closing deals. • Market Development: Act as a market ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and credibility. • Pipeline Growth: Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across transmission, substation, and distribution sectors. • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with operations, estimating, and executive leadership to align sales strategies with delivery capabilities. • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and strategic input to leadership. Qualifications: • Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years in power delivery (transmission, substation, distribution), with a strong understanding of utility operations and project lifecycles. • Sales Expertise: Proven success in sales or business development roles, ideally within engineering, construction, or utility services. • Regional Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Northeast utility market and existing relationships with key stakeholders. • Leadership & Influence: Confident communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence decision-makers. • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred); equivalent experience considered. Preferred Attributes: • Existing relationships with major utilities in the Northeast. • Ability to open doors and create new opportunities in untapped markets. • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality. • Strong network within the power delivery ecosystem.
