Senior Electrical Engineer – Consulting | Leadership | Impact Location: Brentwood, TN Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $121,000 – $143,000 annually (DOE) Total Compensation Package: $135,000 – $165,000+ (including benefits and performance bonuses) Seniority Level: Senior (PE preferred) Industry: Engineering Consulting | Buildings & Infrastructure About the Role A forward-thinking engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead high-impact building and infrastructure projects in Brentwood, TN. What You'll Do • Lead the Charge: Direct the electrical design process from concept through construction across commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects. • Own the Technical Side: Design and review power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and performance objectives. • Manage Projects: Oversee multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate deliverables, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met. • Be the Client's Trusted Partner: Develop and maintain client relationships, provide expert guidance, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. • Mentor & Develop Talent: Coach and guide junior engineers and designers, setting a high bar for technical excellence and leadership. What You Bring • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline). • Licensure: PE license highly preferred (or on track to obtain). • Experience: 10+ years in electrical design, preferably within engineering consulting. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in power systems design, load calculations, and electrical code compliance. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
