Supervise and train technicians in tree and pest care treatments, maintain equipment and facilities, provide customer service, and perform technician duties as needed.
At least 2 years supervisory experience, mechanical repair skills, valid driver's license, and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
General Job Objectives: • Responsible for ensuring that our customers expectation for their tree & shrub healthcare and pest control are being met or exceeded. Essential Job Duties: • Maintain equipment, shop, and warehouse to maximize efficiency of the Technicians. • Train Technicians to apply tree and pest care treatments to customer’s lawns according to state regulations. • Inspect Technicians work and make corrections and/or adjustments while ensuring they are properly trained. • Coach and motivate the team to produce excellent results and meet weekly goals. • Address issues Technicians may have with equipment during their daily routes. • Provide customer service, evaluate trees, note any issues or concerns; diagnose disease, inspect problems, or other issues. • Keep detailed notes about every visit. • Communicate with manager about any issues with the equipment, shop or warehouse. • Perform duties of Technician during periods of short-staffing or customer need. Desired Experience: • Treecare and mechanical repairs knowledge. Fleet maintenance. • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience Skills/Abilities: • Excellent organization skills; excellent communication skills; problem solving; attention to detail; self-motivated; team player. Requirements: • Mechanical knowledge and ability to do repairs. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
