As the Full Time Research and Development Project Manager at Lunds & Byerlys, you will spearhead the planning, coordination, implementation, and execution of projects and process enhancements in our product innovation kitchen. You will collaborate closely with the product innovation leadership team to define project scopes, allocate resources, and establish timelines, budgets, and deliverables. By monitoring project progress and reporting to key stakeholders, you will identify challenges and propose solutions to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, you will implement necessary changes to meet project requirements and facilitate training sessions for team members on document systems and databases. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement in tools and processes, ensuring that our commitment to excellence and customer-centricity remains at the forefront of our operations. Requirements For This Research And Development Project Manager Job To excel as a Full Time Research and Development Project Manager at Lunds & Byerlys, you will need a robust set of skills and competencies. A service-oriented mindset combined with a high-energy, positive demeanor will be essential, as you will interact with various team members and stakeholders. You must be adept at managing multiple projects while adapting to continually changing priorities, ensuring effective coordination throughout. Strong knowledge of compliance requirements with USDA, FDA, OSHA, SQF, and good manufacturing practices will be crucial in this role. Proficiency in software tools such as MS Office and SharePoint is necessary, complemented by exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Experience in Adobe Workfront, or other project management software is a plus. You should possess strong math and problem-solving abilities, as well as organizational skills to manage time efficiently. Familiarity with formulations, recipes, process design, and laboratory techniques will also enhance your effectiveness. Your capacity to maintain confidentiality and work both independently and collaboratively will be key to achieving project success.
