The Senior Lead Commercial Communications will lead external communications for the Acceleration & Growth Team, crafting strategic narratives that connect Lumen’s growth story to business outcomes and support lead generation efforts. Responsibilities • Tell Lumen’s growth story by developing and executing communications that positions Lumen as a customer-centric technology company and showcases how the company is accelerating enterprise transformation through its sales strategy and partner ecosystem. • Shape and manage communications for major announcements, ecosystem partnerships, and customer milestones, from strategy through execution and measurement, to help differentiate Lumen in the marketplace. • Collaborate with AGT leadership, growth marketing, connected ecosystem, sales enablement and internal communications to develop integrated communications strategies that drive earned media coverage, thought leadership, and digital content to raise awareness that helps support lead and demand generation. • Develop high-impact content—press releases, executive talking points, op-eds, blogs, and social media posts--that engage business, technology, and financial audiences. • Provide strategic counsel to business and marketing leaders on positioning, reputation, and storytelling opportunities. • Track and analyze performance metrics to measure communications impact on brand perception, media engagement, and marketing pipeline goals. Skills • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Communications, Business, or a related field. • Proven experience in sales enablement communications, preferably within a large B2B enterprise. • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial or business communications, preferably in a technology company. • Strong understanding of financial principles and sales enablement practices. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. • Master's degree in Finance, Communications, Business, or a related field. • Experience working in a global organization, with a focus on B2B engagement. • Knowledge of financial and business communications.
