Translate requirements into robust technical designs, ensure scalable and secure software architecture, provide technical oversight, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in complex architecture initiatives, experience with large enterprises, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple architecture engagements.
Position Title: IT Applications Solutions Architect Sr. Skill Set • Work closely with Solution Architects and engineering leads to translating requirements into robust technical designs • Assist in the architectural design and implementation of software components, modules, or features for specific projects, ensuring adherence to established architectural principles. • Ensure products are scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable within their domain • Knowledge of IT, OT, domain and business architecture • Knowledge of railroad or broader transportation logistics, including operational workflows for dispatch, scheduling, movement planning, capacity management, and asset management. • Knowledge of networking, cloud computing (e.g., Azure, AWS), and on-premise infrastructure. • Providing technical oversight to support teams and troubleshooting complex technical issues related to the architecture. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data and intelligence or related field with 7+ year’s relevant experience or equivalent work experience. • Must have repeated experience successfully directing significantly complex architecture initiatives, developing capabilities that typically involve different stakeholders, multiple lines of business, many solution varieties, highly regulated environments, business transformations at mass scale. • Experience with $500MM+ or more enterprises as an architect providing vision and choosing platforms. moving organizations forward and scaled for future initiatives. • Requires demonstrated ability to manage multiple architecture engagements and effectively plan and utilize collaborative cross functional teams to ensure the architecture objectives obtain key results. • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, work well with others in an integrated team environment, and must be self-motivated. • **Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment.
