Where You Come In We are looking for a strategic business recruiting partner to help scale Luma’s core business, finance, and people functions. This is not a rigid role. We are hiring for capability, judgment, and impact. In this role, you will take deep ownership of high trust, business critical searches across Finance, Business Operations, Legal, HR, and People. You will partner directly with executive leadership and functional heads to build the teams that enable Luma to scale responsibly and effectively. The common thread is ownership, judgment, and AI savviness. You will have the autonomy to run your searches end to end, leverage modern AI workflows to remove noise, and focus on the human connection required to close exceptional talent. What You’ll Do Own Your Domain: Take full end to end ownership of business, finance, legal, and people searches. You will act as the strategic lead for these roles, not a ticket taker. Force Multiply with AI: Integrate LLMs and AI tools into your daily recruiting workflow to increase efficiency and signal. Use AI to support sourcing, research, outreach, and process optimization so you can focus on high value human interactions. Hire for Impact: Recruit senior ICs and leaders across strategic finance, rev ops, biz ops, legal, HR, and people functions. Prioritize long term impact, judgment, and builder mindset over surface level credentials. Partner with Leadership: Work closely with the CEO, COO, Head of People, and senior functional leaders to define success profiles, calibrate talent bars, and drive hiring decisions. Operate in Ambiguity: Navigate evolving priorities with confidence. You may deep dive into a critical finance or legal hire one quarter and pivot to people or operations leadership searches the next. Build the Machine: Help design and continuously improve Luma’s business recruiting infrastructure, bringing structure, clarity, and rigor to a fast scaling environment. AI Fluent Recruiter: You are comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily workflow. You actively look for ways to automate low value work and increase leverage. Business Recruiting Expert: You bring 5 or more years of full cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on finance, business operations, legal, HR, or people roles. Trusted Partner: You are confident advising senior leaders and comfortable influencing hiring decisions through data, judgment, and market insight. Builder Mindset: You are energized by zero to one work and enjoy building teams and processes rather than maintaining existing ones. Startup DNA: You have experience operating in high growth, fast paced environments where priorities shift and impact matters.
