Job Summary We are seeking a Vice President of Strategy to provide senior leadership and strategic vision across our health and wellness client portfolio. This role is responsible for guiding the strategy department, driving client growth, and elevating our strategic offerings. The VP of Strategy will partner with senior leadership, help to lead a high-performing strategy team, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients - ensuring alignment between brand imperatives, business goals, and integrated communications strategies. As both a strategist and people leader, the VP will help shape the agency’s strategy offering, foster team development, and continuously look for opportunities to bring innovation and value to our clients and the business. Responsibilities • Provide senior-level strategic leadership across multiple client accounts, articulating brand opportunities and guiding long-term marketing strategies. • Direct departmental staffing, development, and retention of a high-performing team; mentor and coach managers and junior strategists. • Partner with agency leadership to align department goals with company objectives and growth initiatives. • Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term business success. • Bring forward innovative thinking and new approaches to deliver value for clients and enhance agency capabilities. • Oversee strategic input in new business efforts and contribute to agency-wide thought leadership. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. • 13+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or related fields, with deep expertise in brand and communications strategy. • Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or wellness marketing required. • Demonstrated success in leading client strategy at a senior level, with proven ability to influence executives and shape brand direction. • Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, managing, and motivating cross-functional teams. • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills. • Financial and business acumen with the ability to align strategy to business impact.
