After all, our customer is ultimately the patient. POSITION TITLE: Manufacturing Equipment Technician (Creekside Cleanroom / High - Volume Assembly) HOURLY PAY RANGE: $25.00/hr - $29.00/hr. Plus $2.00/hr shift differential. SHIFT HOURS: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (Evenings) LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY JOB SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Equipment Technician is responsible for setting up, changing over, maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing technical support for the equipment within their assigned work centers. They work within manufacturing engineering and validation engineering to develop effective processes and support equipment and process qualifications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manufacturing Equipment Technician * Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment to minimize line downtime: responding to ongoing interruptions in a timely manner. * Fill out or confirm the accuracy of equipment verification documentation (e.g., setup sheets, start-up verification test data, etc.) * Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance activities on their equipment within their assigned work center. * Support IQ, OQ, and PQ and related testing as directed by engineering/quality. * Identify opportunities for improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes. * Assist in the development of new processes and the changes to the manufacturing equipment within their assigned work center. * Assists in layout planning and the moving of manufacturing equipment, as needed. * Investigate root cause analysis and implement equipment-related corrective actions for quality issues under the direction of an engineer. * Develop equipment setup and maintenance work instructions and documentation, as required. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain accurate and compliant documentation to meet company and regulatory expectations. * Accomplish all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. * Occasional travel for outside training or meetings with vendors may be required. * Participate in regular cleaning activities within their assigned work center. * Responsible for maintaining equipment listings and statuses within the asset management system. * Support new product development teams, if requested. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Manufacturing Equipment Technician * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * 0-3 years of relevant work experience within a regulated industry required. * Experience in Medical Device or Pharma preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Manufacturing Equipment Technician * Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. * Proficiency in standard office software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Excellent mechanical aptitude and proficiency to understand LSI products and processes. * Excellent communication skills. * Attention to detail, especially as it relates to identifying potential changes to or problems with manufacturing equipment or processes. * Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices. * Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics and drawings.
