National Sales Manager National Sales Manager Establish an exciting career in the Music Industry! We are looking for a highly motivated results-driven in-house sales manager with 5+ sales management experience, preferably with a B2B sales background. This person will also actively seek out and engage new, as well as maintain existing large key accounts. You will provide appropriate strategies to boost sales growth, motivate our inside sales team, assist with new customer acquisitions and increase profitability. Job Functions: • Maintain and increase overall sales volume within an existing territory. • Utilize confident sales management abilities to direct sales team to increase their call volume to retailers nationwide, to develop new business, and reactivate inactive customers. • Train the sales team on how to find new customers and increase sales skills (increasing call volume, adding orders and closing the sale). • Supply upper management with daily and weekly reports on sales teams’ activity, customer needs, and new business development interests. • Oversee a sales team of inside sales representatives to achieve monthly goals and establish new business relationships and promote exclusive company lines to nationwide dealers. • Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to help better coordinate marketing efforts, increase brand awareness and thus increase sales. • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify untapped opportunities. • Utilize advanced forecasting models to optimize inventory management and sales projections. Job Requirements: • Enthusiastic and self-motivated personality. • Assertive with high confidence in both self-sales abilities and sales management efforts. • Strong verbal communication skills. • Willingness to make phone calls to present our product to prospective large key accounts or multi-chain dealers that aren’t currently buying from us. • Be able to think quickly on your feet. • Highly motivated and success driven. • Excellent selling, communication, negotiation and influencing skills. • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills. • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer’s needs. • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback. Qualifications: • BS/BA degree in sales, marketing or business preferred. • Some college coursework in Business, Sales or Marketing is helpful; not required. • Sales or customer service experience required. • Strong computer/data entry skills is required.
