Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at Lowe's. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. The key responsibilities of this role include: • Operating a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse. • Loading and unloading delivery trucks and trailers. • Ensuring the safe and secure handling of packages. • Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation. • Performing regular maintenance checks on the forklift. • Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. • Collaborating with warehouse staff to meet productivity goals. This role requires: • A high school diploma or equivalent. • Valid forklift operator certification. • Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting. • The ability to lift and move heavy objects. • Strong attention to detail and safety protocols. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
