Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee operations within a senior care facility, including assisted living, nursing home, and memory care settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, management experience, and a compassionate approach to resident care. This role involves coordinating daily activities, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with care plans, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety for residents with diverse needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, and developmental disabilities. The Administrator will play a vital role in fostering a supportive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents. Duties • Manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies • Oversee staff supervision, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration and nursing services • Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staffing, budgets, and regulatory requirements • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by supervising adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures • Oversee budgeting and financial management to optimize resource allocation while maintaining quality standards • Lead efforts in community outreach and engagement to foster positive relationships with residents’ families and external partners • Supervise group home or long-term care operations with a focus on person-centered care approaches • Manage operational challenges related to senior care environments including retirement homes and home & community care settings Experience • Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home management is highly preferred • Demonstrated leadership in senior care or long-term care environments with supervisory responsibilities • Working knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory support programs, and resident’s management • Experience developing and overseeing care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs • Background in managing operations within retirement homes or group homes is advantageous • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial acumen, medication administration protocols, and compliance standards in healthcare settings • Familiarity with social work principles or home & community care services is beneficial • Proven ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach toward residents with diverse needs such as developmental disabilities or mental health conditions This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional senior care.
