Degree or equivalent experience with FinTech or finance background, technical leadership experience, strong MS SQL and reporting skills, and ability to manage software development lifecycle and change control.
Hi, Our client is looking for a Senior Lead Developer (AutoRek) for a Contract project in Chicago, IL below is the detailed requirement. Job Title : Senior Lead Developer (AutoRek) Location : Chicago, IL Type : Contract Responsibilities: • Implementing & Testing the AutoRek core financial management solution • Act as a AutoRek subject matter expert for configuration of solutions • Review and sign off solution designs • Prepare Build Plans • Estimation of development and testing work • Prepare Test Cases • Direct project build team and oversee build effort • Guide the configuration & code in line with agreed requirements and designs acting as a AutoRek SME • Configure the most complexed areas of the solution • Complete unit testing and End-to-End testing in line with the testing strategy • Lead peer reviews • Lead acceptance testing and ensure defect remediation • Ownership of defect triage and defect management through the acceptance testing phase • Develop and test remediation releases to resolve agreed defects and change requests • Prepare and validate releases for deployment • Lead project go-lives and transfer to application Support • Provide coaching and mentoring to the build teams Qualifications: • Educated to degree level in a technical subject or appropriate workplace experience. Experience: • FinTech, SaaS, or Finance background • Proven experience delivering configuration/code on time and within budget. • Experience acting as a technical lead on projects. • Experience in defining test cases. • Experience in defect management. • Providing leadership and mentoring to junior members of the team. Knowledge: • Strong understanding of the phases of the software development and implementation lifecycle. • Strong understanding of the Change Control Process to identify any movement of agreed scope. Skills: • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong MS SQL, data querying & data manipulation, • SSRS / Power BI or similar reporting suites • SQL performance tuning. • Strong collaborator who can work across all areas of the business from Pre-sales through to Delivery and onto Customer Success. • Able to negotiate and mediate with clients. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, embracing change and new challenges.
