Location: Remote (NYC preferred for occasional meetups) Compensation: Unpaid (no salary, stipend, commission, or equity) About Lookout Lookout is a student-founded, pre-revenue startup building a mobile platform to improve commuter safety through real-time incident reporting and crowdsourced alerts. Recognitions include: • “Greatest Social Impact Award” – NYU Tandon Capstone Pitch (2024) • Selection to Leslie Founders Network (2025) • Selection to InnoVention Challenge (2025) We are part of NYU’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, receiving mentorship, resources, and guidance as we develop our prototype and explore pilot partnerships. Role Overview As a Content Creator, you’ll help shape Lookout’s brand voice and storytelling across platforms. This is an opportunity to build portfolio-ready work while contributing to a mission-driven venture in its early stage. Responsibilities • Create engaging content (posts, videos, graphics, blogs) for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. • Collaborate with the team to craft clear narratives about commuter safety, innovation, and startup progress. • Maintain a content calendar aligned with product milestones. • Experiment with storytelling formats to reach diverse commuter audiences. • Support marketing by preparing content for our website, pitch decks, and community updates. Minimum Qualifications • Examples/portfolio of prior social or creative content (class projects, personal accounts, freelance work, etc.). • Comfortable with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Figma. • Reliable availability for weekly check-ins; uses own equipment/software.
