The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day supervision of Processors and Junior Processors. Provide service and quality processing of loan files in accordance with FHA, State, and Investor regulations, assuring the marketable quality of each loan. The Processing Manager will report to the Director of Retail Operations.Responsibilities:Manage and coach a team consisting of 15-20 Processors, Supervisors, and Team LeadsMaintain thorough knowledge of LBF’s programs, policies, procedures, and terminology applicable to FHA LoansEnsure compliance with LBF’s policies and secondary market requirements pertaining to credit standards and regulation for FHA and Proprietary loansTrain, assist, coach, supervise, and support departmental team membersAct as a liaison between the Underwriting Department, Sales, and other Longbridge Financial Mortgage departmentsCollaborate with Loan Officers, Account Executives, Partners, Borrowers, Underwriters, Closers, AMCs, and title companiesMonitor the pipeline daily to ensure files move efficientlyDevelop strategies to improve processes and enhance workflowReview and assist processors with conditions as neededPerform root cause analysis and provide solutions and feedback to LeadershipProvide positive and motivating support to the teamAttend and host daily and weekly meetingsCoordinate with Supervisors and Team Leads on training needsOversee hiring and terminationsCommunicate and interact with other department managers, as well as the recruiting department, to ensure staffing needs align with capacity plans and profit/loss expectationsPerform other duties as assignedWork well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines, and demonstrate professional behavior with colleagues and management QualificationsSkills / QualificationsReverse mortgage retail processing experience requiredStrong knowledge of all State and Federal regulations including but not limited to RESPA/TILA, Reg B, etc.Prior experience with interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations5-10 years Management experience highly preferredMay require long hours/overtime at certain times of the monthExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlinesA “Can Do” attitude with high energy and self-motivationTravel required multiple times a yearAdditional InformationFull benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time offWorking in a growing and dynamic industryLBF is an EEO/AA/Vet/Disabled EmployePlease note that salaries that are estimated on various job sites may not reflect the actual compensations.
