Full Description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role plays a key part in month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting, while partnering closely with internal teams to support the organization’s financial goals. Location: Hatfield, PA (on-site) Salary: $70,000 Key Responsibilities • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals • Prepare and analyze financial statements, schedules, and supporting documentation • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards • Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2–5 years of accounting experience (industry or public accounting) • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills
