Lohmiller & Company dba Carrier West is a leading HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) distributor in the Rocky Mountain region for over 30 years. People and products make our organization the leader that it is today. We are looking for an individual who will be an Inventory Control Manager. This position is located at our main distribution center on 4800 Osage Street, Denver, CO 80221. Lohmiller & Company dba Carrier West is a drug-free workplace. Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory. This is a full-time, regular business hours exempt position. This position involves both working in the warehouse and at a desk in an administrative setting. Experience must include familiarity with inventory movement, cycle counts, return materials processes and basic computer knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. • Accurate accounting of inventory, cycle counts, and product locations. Must be able to organize/reorganize inventory locations based on order and business demands. • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures. • Must keep/provide applicable documentation/records of inventory adjustments. • Works with other branches on count accuracy and reporting. • Strong attention to detail and good math skills. • Good communication skills, must be able to read, write and communicate in English. • Must be able to handle physical requirements, including but not limited to bending, stretching, twisting and lifting up to 40 pounds. • Requires occasional use of step stools,ladders, pickers and forklifts. Training and certification for use of motorized lift equipment is provided. • Manage Inventory Control Specialist(s) on a daily basis to ensure task completion and accuracy. • High School Diploma or GED. • Must have reliable transportation. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must possess a positive work history. Ideal candidate must have the ability to work alone or as part of the General & Administrative Team assigned to projects within the facility such as but not limited to rework projects, sorting projects, etc. pertaining to inventory movement/control. Candidate will work collectively with the Operations Team to achieve business goals.
