Purchasing Manager About Us: LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. is one of the world’s leading suppliers of automated smart conveyors, for assembly and test lines, in the automotive industry. We are currently looking to hire a talented Technical Purchasing professional to join our team. Your responsibilities: • Gather quotations for material, components, etc. • Preparation and tracking of orders in ERP system • Constantly monitor and report the progress of critical orders to internal stakeholders • Communication with suppliers for accurate and on time delivery • Stock and project related purchasing • Inventory and receiving support • Price and contract negotiation • Alternative supplier research to reduce cost, reduce lead-time, increase quality, etc. Requirements: • Previous proven experience working directly with the suppliers is preferred • Technical appreciation and understanding of material and mechanical/electrical components • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills • Must be available to work from our facility in Hebron, KY (relocation not provided) and be able to travel as required • Must be able to work in a team environment, independently or with minimal direction • Increasingly, foreign language skills are in demand Company Benefits: At LOGOMAT, we ask a lot of our employees, which is why we give in return.
