Overview The Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure & Operations is responsible for overseeing the administration, maintenance, and security of core IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations, manages enterprise services such as Active Directory and DNS, and leads infrastructure projects including upgrades and migrations. The position also handles day-to-day operations, asset lifecycle management, digital certificate oversight, and vendor relationships, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business needs. Responsibilities Oversee patch management and vulnerability remediation across all systems. Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements. Administer and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related services. Manage internal IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services. Lead and coordinate system-related projects, upgrades, and migrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business needs. Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets. Oversee lifecycle management of IT assets including procurement, deployment, and disposal. Manage digital certificates and ensure timely renewals and compliance. Manage relationships with IT vendors including software and hardware providers. Oversee contract renewals, licensing, and vendor performance. Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure service-level agreements are met. Qualifications Education Preferred 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience 3-5 Years experience in IT infrastructure and operations 1-2 Years experience with patching tools, vulnerability scanners, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). Knowledge, Skills & Ability Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and network fundamentals. Familiarity with asset management systems and certificate lifecycle tools. Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills.
