Full Description

About Logistis for Designers At Logistis for Designers, we specialize in empowering creative entrepreneurs by providing tailored financial services that help design businesses thrive. We believe that numbers don’t have to be intimidating — especially when you have a friendly, knowledgeable team by your side. Our mission is to simplify financial management so designers can focus on what they do best: creating beautiful spaces, products, and experiences. Position Overview As a Client Manager at Logistis for Designers, you’re more than just a financial liaison — you act as an extension of each client’s design team. You genuinely care about your clients' businesses as if they were your own, investing time and energy to help them succeed. You thrive on human connection, love hopping on Zoom calls, and are passionate about helping designers better understand their numbers and grow confidently. In this role, you will manage a team of bookkeepers, ensuring that all client work is completed accurately and on time. While you won’t be performing the bookkeeping yourself, you will review, approve, and validate all financials and reports before they are delivered to clients — ensuring they make sense, are error-free, and meet our high standards. As an advanced accountant, you’ll also serve as the go-to expert for complex accounting questions from both your team and clients. You provide guidance, solve problems, and ensure financial integrity across all deliverables. In addition to overseeing financial operations, you will be responsible for identifying and recommending opportunities to upsell our services to existing clients based on their evolving business needs. This consultative approach ensures clients receive the support they need while contributing to overall company growth. Your mission is to provide an outstanding client experience by overseeing the production process, maintaining financial accuracy, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for your clients. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Financial Oversight • Manage a team of bookkeepers, ensuring client work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. • Act as the final reviewer — you don’t do the bookkeeping, but you ensure it’s correct, logical, and client-ready. • Review and approve all financials and reports before they are presented to clients, guaranteeing accuracy, clarity, and consistency. • Provide mentorship and guidance to bookkeepers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified in bookkeeping outputs. • Ensure workflows in Karbon are properly managed and team communications remain timely. Advanced Accounting Expertise • Leverage your advanced accounting knowledge to answer complex accounting questions from your production team and clients. • Serve as the internal authority on nuanced accounting matters related to creative businesses. • Offer strategic financial advice, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve accounting challenges with confidence. Client Relationship Management • Build and nurture strong relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and extension of each client’s design team. • Care deeply about your clients' businesses — treating them like your own and proactively supporting their success. • Lead monthly client calls, simplifying financial concepts and providing actionable insights. • Identify opportunities to enhance services as clients' businesses evolve. • Upsell additional services where appropriate, ensuring clients receive tailored support to meet their current and future needs. • Maintain an open communication style — never hiding behind emails — and prioritize personal engagement through Zoom or phone. Strategic Support & Advisory • Monitor client financial health and offer proactive recommendations, especially when key metrics such as gross profit margin or net income indicate concerns. • Provide clients with practical tips and best practices for running a profitable design business. • Act as a support system for designers navigating daily business operations. Who You Are • Experienced Leader: You have experience managing accounting or bookkeeping teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Advanced Accountant: You possess strong technical accounting skills and confidently address complex financial questions. • Quality Controller: You excel at reviewing work, spotting inconsistencies, and ensuring every deliverable is accurate and polished. • Communicator at Heart: You thrive in client-facing roles and enjoy building lasting relationships. • Proactive & Solution-Oriented: You anticipate challenges and resolve them before they escalate. • Educator & Advisor: You simplify complex financial information for clients and mentor internal teams. • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple priorities seamlessly, keeping both clients and teams on track. • Team Player & Leader: You collaborate effectively while guiding your team to success. • Humble & Direct: You know when to listen and when to provide clear, confident direction. Qualifications • Proven experience managing bookkeeping or accounting teams. • Strong advanced accounting knowledge with the ability to address complex financial scenarios. • Experience in client management, account management, or a similar client-facing role (preferably in accounting, financial services, or professional services). • Deep understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping processes, and profitability metrics. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Familiarity with Karbon or similar workflow/project management tools is a plus. • Passion for working with creative professionals, especially within the design industry. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly collaborative. Why Join Logistis for Designers? We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth: • Fully Remote Work Environment • Competitive Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 USD per year, based on experience • Health Insurance, dental and vision plan • 401(k) Plan - no matching just access to account • Paid Time Off & Holidays • Manager’s Unlimited PTO Policy • Remote Office Setup Stipend ($300) • Monthly Internet & Phone Stipend • No Weekends • Growth Opportunities #Workwolf
