Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Geospatial Analyst to support our Department of Homeland Security client. Successful LMI Geospatial Analysts demonstrate competency in acquiring, analyzing, compiling, and evaluating geospatial data for use in products or data holdings. Responsibilities Must be comfortable interacting with key leadership, articulate, and proactive. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance, seeking guidance and clarification as required. Create complex cartographic products on a variety of mediums (i.e. desktop, web based, mobile). Perform a variety of quality control, quality assurance, and currency of geospatial information produced. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline 5+ Years of experience Knowledge and experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online Availability for occasional travel (10%) Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a government program/office Ability to perform complex research and analysis Excellent verbal and written communication skills to create high quality presentations, papers, and the other types of Maintain solution-focused perspective in a complex, operations-paced environment to enable Mission Partners with varying needs and Develop familiarity with Information Technology systems and operations based on DHS- provided office Adhere to governance requirements that undergird the GMO product line while seeking opportunities for efficiency and better customer This position requires DHS suitability prior to entering on duty. You must be a US citizen. DESIRED SKILLS Master’s degree or higher. Previous DHS experience.
