Overview LMI is seeking a highly qualified Data Analyst to support the Systems Team within the Army Training Information System (ATIS) program. The analyst leverages advanced data analysis, visualization, and reporting techniques to deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making, improve system performance, and enhance the user experience across the ATIS portfolio. This role requires close collaboration with software development teams, Army stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure data-driven decisions directly support the Army’s training mission. Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets generated from ATIS applications, including training usage, system performance, and user engagement metrics. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for ATIS product teams, Army leadership, and government customers. Partner with software developers, UX researchers, and product owners to ensure data requirements are identified, tracked, and integrated into system enhancements. Support incoming and outgoing data interfaces, including schema design, ETL pipeline development and maintenance, ensuring data quality and data consistency. Support resolution of data-related user inquiries. Provide input into backlog prioritization by highlighting data-driven opportunities for system improvements and innovation. Support compliance with Army and DoD data governance, security, and privacy policies. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active Secret security clearance required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in enterprise-level data engineering, data architecture, or related fields. Active DoDI 8140 certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+). Expertise in enterprise database and data warehouse design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Strong problem solving and SQL analysis skills. Proven ability to learn and apply domain knowledge to data transformations and data quality reports. Skilled in process design, modeling, and documentation using DoDAF or similar frameworks. Experience supporting data-centric enterprise systems and integration with multidimensional networks. Familiarity with Agile frameworks, especially SAFe, and experience working in PI cycles and Agile ceremonies. Strong understanding of project management principles and tools to support collaborative team-based delivery. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with government or DoD systems (e.g., ATIS, IPPS-A, AOS). Experience with backlog management and collaboration tools (e.g., Gitlab, Lucid Spark). Experience in AWS data services (S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, etc.) Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security best practices in a federal environment. Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and data automation tools. SAFe and related industry certifications (SAFe Agilist, DevOps Practitioner). Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required (e.g., quarterly for PI Planning and major program milestones).
