Role Overview: As a DevSecOps Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Nuclear Planning and Command and Control Mission Applications for the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). Your work will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery pipelines that meet stringent defense standards. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain scalable DevSecOps platforms to support mission-critical applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle. - You will automate deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code. - You will monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring high availability and security compliance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve platform issues to minimize downtime and impact on mission operations. - You will contribute to the development of security policies and best practices within the DevSecOps environment. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or related roles. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Solid understanding of security principles and practices in software development. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in defense or government contracting environments. - Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST, FedRAMP, or DoD RMF. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
