As a DevSecOps Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient DevSecOps platforms that support nuclear planning and command and control mission applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring mission-critical applications meet stringent security and performance standards. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment processes. - You will integrate security best practices and tools into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows. - You will collaborate with software developers, security engineers, and operations teams to enhance platform reliability and security. - You will monitor and troubleshoot platform performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively. - You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - You will ensure compliance with government security standards and policies throughout the development lifecycle. - You will participate in incident response and vulnerability management activities. - You will document platform architecture, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and audits. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or related roles. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to government or defense sectors. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in defense or government contracting environments. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
