Graphic Designer Assistant – Entry Level – Immediate Openings We are a small, web-based company based in Laguna Hills. We do online advertising for non-profit organizations and other organizations. Type: Hybrid, mostly in office. Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour to start Full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Main Areas of Responsibility: Assistant to Art Director. Various graphic design tasks, from making ads, emailing artwork, getting approvals, printing programs, artwork fixing, data entry, web design, website maintenance, etc. Various physical office tasks. Designing/typesetting advertisements for a wide variety of businesses for online ads. Saving and preparing files. Uploading the finished advertisements to a website. Managing time and responsibilities. Tracking your work in a worksheet each week and communicating with lead graphic artist. Fixing errors and being responsive throughout the week. Qualifications: • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. (Adobe Illustrator basic knowledge when needed) • Good sense of design. Balance aesthetics with amount of time spent on each ad. • Able to work independently and handle repetitive tasks. We create a lot of ads. • Additional physical office tasks may include; working a folding machine, loading paper, using the inserter machine, packaging boxes, etc. • Proficient/Working Knowledge in Microsoft/Internet/Sharepoint/Outlook/Excel. • Able to save files properly, navigate folders and follow specific saving guidelines. • Follow instructions to upload the advertisements to our websites. No HTML/CSS or Web Design skills needed. However Wordpress/Webflow skills a plus.
