Role Overview: The Vice President of Nursing will contribute to the company’s growth and quality through oversight of infusion care delivery. The Vice President of Nursing will ensure our patients receive the highest level of safe care possible in infusion therapy by facilitating training, education, and performance of the infusing clinical staff while maintaining full compliance with industry regulations and standards. Location: Remote in CT or ET, with the expectation to travel to centers on a regular basis Job Description Design and lead clinical and compliance training and re-training across the organization Drive ongoing clinical performance of infusion nurses and nurse practitioners, implementing training and clinical solutions where necessary Design and review quantitative and qualitative clinical measurements, providing feedback and retraining to ensure clinical quality where necessary Ensure compliance with clinical regulations and accreditation standards, rectifying issues as they arise Key Accountabilities Clinical Training and Competency (New, Annual) Clinical Quality Medication Errors and Patient Safety Key Requirements 10+ years of progressive clinical experience, including direct patient care in infusion, oncology, or specialty pharmacy settings 5+ years of leadership experience managing or training clinical teams across multiple sites or regions Deep knowledge of infusion therapy protocols, specialty medications, and patient safety practices Experience with regulatory compliance, accreditation processes and patient safety standards Demonstrated success leading clinical quality, compliance, and training programs in a healthcare delivery setting. Willingness to travel regularly to centers as needed Active and unrestricted RN license (multistate / compact preferred); specialty certification in infusion therapy, oncology, or related area preferred
