We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our well-established and rapidly growing commercial construction distributor in the Charlotte area. This role supports our Project Management team, primarily serving the hospitality and lodging industry, with a focus on doors, frames, hardware, bath accessories, and specialty building products. Key Responsibilities • Assist Project Managers with construction project coordination from bid stage through closeout. • Perform plan takeoffs, material quantification, and product verification. • Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and documentation. • Create and maintain door and hardware schedules and other project-specific lists. • Collaborate with contractors, architects, suppliers, and internal teams. • Maintain organized electronic files using Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software. • Support timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution. Qualifications • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe (PDF editing/markups), and general project documentation tools. • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred — or equivalent commercial construction experience. • Experience with doors, frames, hardware, or specialty construction products is a plus.
