Growth Marketing Lead Location: Hybrid/SF Bay Area Type: Full-Time About the Role: We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption across every surface where LMArena reaches users. This role blends creative storytelling, sharp product thinking, and performance-driven execution, spanning content, SEO/GEO, social media, paid campaigns, GTM and influencer strategy. This is not a role where you'll be handed a playbook, you'll write it. You’ll lead experiments across channels, measure what moves the needle, and build repeatable programs from what works. You should be confident working toward goals, testing across surfaces, and identifying growth levers that can scale. You’ve led teams before and know how to bring structure to ambiguity. You’ll work across functions to build campaigns that connect product and community momentum, and you’ll help us define how open AI evaluation reaches the world. We believe in evaluation infrastructure that is open, community-driven, and grounded in real-world usage. This role is for someone who can bring these value props to life to bring the next millions of users to LMArena. Experimentation-led growth strategy: Design and test growth initiatives across owned, earned, and paid channels, quickly identifying what drives results, doubling down, and scaling up. Product marketing and GTM: Lead go-to-market strategy for new features, leaderboards, tools, and research launches. Use data to refine messaging, positioning, and distribution. SEO/GEO and content distribution: Own our search and blog growth strategy—ensuring our best content is discoverable, relevant, and optimized for our core audiences. Social and community reach: Lead organic social strategy across X, LinkedIn, and other surfaces, experimenting with tone, timing, and content to maximize impact. Localized campaigns: Test and scale localized efforts to reach technical communities and research hubs globally. Paid and performance marketing: Run paid media experiments (search, social, sponsorships) to drive quality traffic and engagement, tracking performance closely. Team leadership and collaboration: Partner across product, research, comms, and community teams, and help mentor or manage collaborators and vendors as we scale. Who is LMArena? Requirements: 7+ years of experience across growth marketing, content marketing, acquisition, product marketing, or related full stack roles in a technical environment. Strong understanding of AI/ML platforms, with the ability to translate technical concepts into campaigns, content, and channel strategies Proven ability to lead cross-functional growth initiatives, working with product, design, content, and research teams from strategy through execution Demonstrated experience running experimentation-based marketing (A/B tests, performance optimization, growth loops) across SEO/GEO, paid, social, and lifecycle channels Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of technical content (e.g. blog posts, product updates, campaign briefs) Experience engaging developer or research communities, comfortable gathering feedback, building trust, and tailoring content to audience needs with community and distribution platform strategies A data-driven marketer with a bias toward action, comfortable setting strategy, executing quickly, and learning fast in 0-1 environments What we offer: The cash compensation for this position in the market is not yet finalized.
