Job Title: Receptionist / Office Support Assistant Location: Syosset, NY Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM (overtime as needed) Dress Code: Business Casual Compensation: $20-22/hr Position Overview: We are seeking a personable, grounded, and professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Office Support Assistant. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in an office environment, demonstrates strong communication skills, and thrives in a role that supports daily office operations with a positive, service-oriented attitude. What You'll Do: • Serve as the first point of contact by answering incoming calls and transferring them to the appropriate departments. • Sort, distribute, and manage all incoming mail and packages. • Scan, file, and maintain digital records of documents. • Enter and process FedEx shipments accurately. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office kitchen. • Coordinate daily lunch orders for staff (lunch is provided most days). • Utilize standard office equipment and follow established office protocols. • Provide general administrative and office support as needed. What We're Looking For: • Previous office experience required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Comfortable using office equipment (copiers, scanners, phones, etc.). • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
