Qualifications Required • 5+ years of experience in project management • Advanced understanding of residential construction processes • Advanced ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and engineering documents • Advanced ability to build and manage detailed construction schedules Preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Architecture (or equivalent experience) • Experience preparing project budgets and scopes of work • Experience coordinating vendors, quotes, and purchase orders • Experience in client selections management • Familiarity with local permitting processes and jurisdictions Job Responsibilities: The Residential Pre-Construction Manager will manage all aspects of job setup while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the pre-construction phase. This role leads the building permit submission and approval process, creates detailed construction schedules, and oversees the full client selections process. The position is responsible for processing and tracking all client change orders, requesting vendor quotes, reviewing pricing, and issuing purchase orders. Additionally, the Residential Pre-Construction Manager prepares projects for field execution and coordinates a seamless handoff to construction managers, while also reviewing and approving all vendor bills and invoices.
